George Godfrey

I am a photographic artist working with abstraction in real-world environments. Rather than documenting what I see, I transform it in camera. There are no composites or digital construction. Each image is resolved at the moment of exposure. My approach is shaped by 25 years in broadcast television, working across news, current affairs and documentary production for international networks. That experience instilled a strong sense of discipline, observation, and precision. My work has been exhibited at ArtExpo New York and in Sweden. I create photographs as authored works. They are interpretations rather than documents.
