“I didn’t have patience for art until I realized that art is patience. I didn’t develop a passion for art until I discovered that art is all about passion. I never believed I could meditate until I recognized that painting is my meditation. What once felt distant has become essential. Through painting I found focus, presence and a deep appreciation for art. I feel both blessed and humbled by the journey.« I am an emerging abstract painter based in Slovenia. Although my professional background is outside the art world, my artistic practice began from an intense, personal turning point and has rapidly become central to my life. Originally the owner of several guesthouses, I discovered painting during a journey last year. What began as curiosity quickly transformed into a full-time, immersive practice. For the past year, I have painted continuously and compulsively, producing hundreds of works through a process driven by instinct, movement, and emotional intensity. My work is abstract, powerful, and highly energetic - often aggressive, chaotic, and saturated with color. Each painting is built through layers of physical gesture, resulting in dense compositions that may appear unruly at first, yet ultimately resolve into a sense of balance. While the surface carries intensity, the act of painting itself brings me peace. When I work, I disconnect entirely from my surroundings; sound, time, and external awareness disappear.
