My collection consists exclusively of watercolors, with the occasional drawing. For me, watercolor is such a beloved medium that I keep returning to it, despite having explored many other fantastic techniques. It captures light like no other medium—it is unpredictable and full of life. I have been painting on and off since my teenage years. My interest was shaped by close relatives who were artists, as well as encouragement from my parents and a deep passion for all things aesthetic (I am also a drama educator, and I write and sing). These influences have helped me develop my skills and artistic practice. Although I have taken numerous courses in life drawing and watercolor, these were short-term programs, so I consider myself largely self-taught. My professional background includes teaching visual arts at the upper secondary and compulsory school levels, as well as at the *Kulturskolan* (School of the Arts) in the City of Stockholm. I also regularly lead watercolor workshops—independently, through adult education associations, and for art societies and corporate groups.
